L.A. Baltic Inspiration

L.A. Baltic Inspiration is a fully approved Swedish Warmblood and ISR/Oldenburg Stallion. He is the highest scoring SWB stallion to be approved in North America and he is the sire of the highest scoring mare, L.A. Baltic Kharma, who earned two Diplomas for dressage gaits as well as jumping ability. In 2004 L.A. Baltic Inspiration was also approved by the ISR/Oldenburg NA registry and granted a Lifetime Breeding License based on his inspection in hand and his performance records in dressage and open jumping. The show records of his offspring allowed him to be ranked 75th (out of over 1,120 stallions) in the USEF's 2005 List of Leading Dressage Sires. Show Record Highlights L.A. Baltic Inspiration won the 1993 Colt Championship and American Breeders Award as well as being named Champion Stallion, Champion Mature Horse and Reserve Grand Champion in 1998 at Dressage at Devon, the largest breed show in North America. He is a Grand Prix Jumper and competed successfully through Prix St. Georges dressage as well, amassing many USDF Horse Of The Year titles along the way. The year he began competing in Grand Prix jumpers was the year he was also named Champion USDF Fourth Level All Breeds Horse of the Year. He went on to train all the movements of Grand Prix dressage, but had to be retired from showing due to an injury. The Swedish Warmblood Association gave him, as a 4 year old, 42 of a possible 50 points with a "9" for his head, neck and body and a "10" for the walk . Then in 2004 he was also approved by ISR/Oldenburg NA and received a Lifetime Breeding License. His indexes were "71" for type and conformation,"75" for jumping and "73" for dressage. He is a Star Oldenburg stallion. Breeding Record Highlights Although his oldest offspring is just 8 years old, he has sired 92 registered offspring (plus many more that have not been registered for one reason or another), thus making him the most popular SWB stallion in North America. Of those that were inspected by the SWB inspection committee from Sweden, nearly 60% were awarded Class 1 status. In addition, of the 3 and 4 year olds that underwent further evaluation for dressage gaits and/or jumping talent, 67% were awarded Diploma or Class 1 status and 1stallion was granted a breeding license. He is the sire of the approved stallion, Conquistador and 2 Diploma mares: Abby's Sunrise,and L.A. Baltic Kharma (Double Diplomas for Gaits and Jumping Ability.). L.A. Baltic Kharma continues to be the highest scoring mare in North America and won two divisions of the International Jumper Futurity as a 4 year old. She has also won several USDF titles through 4th Level dressage, and is schooling at the F.E.I. Levels of dressage in addition to jumping again. In addition to these "super stars", offspring of L.A. Baltic Inspiration have competed very successfully at halter as well as in the dressage, hunter and jumper arenas, winning many Horse of the Year titles and championships. Foals by L.A. Baltic Inspiration out of Thoroughbred and most warmblood mares maybe registered Swedish Warmblood.
