Horse breeding is another area of interest and success for Gail. Having bred many Arabian horses in the past that went on to compete and win numerous championships in both halter and performance at the National level, Gail has since turned her talents to include European Warmbloods. Her success with the Swedish Warmblood horse breeding program is no less impressive. Gail has bred three licensed Swedish Warmblood stallions and a mare who received diplomas for both dressage and jumping ability. Her horses have won numerous USEF Regional and National High Score Horse of the Year awards. In addition, many have won at the prestigious "Devon Horse Show" (Hunter/Jumper and Open Show) and “Dressage At In addition to her knowledge and experience in dressage, Gail has a strong scientific background, having earned a B.S. in Animal Science and Pre-Veterinary Medicine, an M.S. in Zoology, and a Ph.D. in Immunology. Listed in "Who's Who", "Who's Who of American Women," and "Who's Who of Technology Today as well as "American Men and Women of Science" and the "American Biographical Institute International Biographical Center" for inventions and contributions to diagnostic medicine (such as the "Mono Test", a 2 minute blood test for Infectious Mononucleosis). In 1982, Dr. Hoff-Carmona retired as Director of Research and Development at a diagnostics company to pursue her interest in horses.
