A fabulous Open Jumper prospect by Lucky Light (Hol.), an international jumper and sire of both open jumpers and dressage horses. “Highlite,” as a 5 year old, has successfully jumped up to Level 4 courses with excellent technique. Frank Chapot, former USET coach and Chef d’Equipe, helped to train him and feels that he is an exceptional Open Jumper prospect. At the same time, he is working well in basic dressage and can even do flying tempi changes. "Highlite" placed 3rd in the Yearling Colt Class, Dressage At Devon, 2001, and was Champion Colt at the BFK Sport Horse show in NJ. He is sensitive but sensible. Current clean x-rays.

A wonderful horse for an amateur or professional. “Poet” is very pretty and has lovely gaits as well as excellent jumping technique. He received “9” of a possible “10” for type and conformation and “8” for gaits at his SWB inspection. Easy to ride over fences, in the dressage ring or on the trail. This is a very talented young horse with everything it takes to develop as a Hunter, Jumper or Dressage Horse. At the end of his four year old year he was ready to show First Level dressage and was working easily in 2nd and 3rd level movements as well. He has an excellent extended trot as well as definite ability for high collection. "Poet" has a wonderful disposition and work ethic. Congratulations to Robert Miller and Katarina Antens-Miller of Colts Neck, NJ on the purchase of L.A. Baltic Poet. |

Outstanding mover with a long successful show record through Prix St. Georges and well started in piaffe, passage and single tempi changes. Wellington of L.A. is definitely proving himself as top Grand Prix dressage material. Imported from Germany in 1998, and trained and shown by Los Alamos Dressage Center. He has scores at all levels in the mid and high 60's% and has scored into the 70's% as well. He received a "9" for his extended trot from Linda Zang at one show. Wellington of L.A. is easy to sit to and is light in the mouth and to the aids. He is very sound and has no vices. |

This is a very beautiful filly who received a “9” for her type and conformation at her SWB inspection. Tall and elegant with a beautifully shaped and well set neck, expressive head and lovely balance. Smooth body with strong loin. She is very light in her gaits and pushes well from behind while maintaining good rhythm and lots of freedom from the shoulder. Very sweet disposition. Her sire is doing all the work of Grand Prix dressage and her dam is an outstanding Thoroughbred mare that is approved by the SWB association. “Morning Star” is a full sister to the talented gelding, L.A Baltic Poet.

ROC YOUR SOCKS OFF Lovely, dark bay gelding, fine type with a beautiful head, good neck and shoulder and well developed croup. Growing rapidly, we expect that he will be over 15 hands at one year old. His walk is clean and he is quite supple. Trot and canter elastic and energetic but currently effected because he is so high in the croup. Overall score when inspected at 4 months was 44. Rocco was orphaned just prior to turning 4 months old but has adjusted nicely. He has very good ground manners. CiCi has outstanding
uphill conformation and three very balanced, fluid gaits. She was started
under saddle as a three year old, however, due to owners time constraints
her formal training was postponed. CiCi has recently been restarted
and she is showing the predisposition to being a quick learner and sensitive
ride. Her outstanding conformation, nice gaits and talent for free jumping
make her the perfect jumper/dressage prospect for someone who wished
to spend a little time, or her popular blood lines make her the perfect
addition to any breeding stock. Contact Breeder: Brenda E-Mail: bway@morrisdowningsherred.com |
