Katarina Antens-Miller Earns Her USDF Silver Medal

Congratulations to Katarina! She had an outstanding show season with her stallion, L.A. Baltic Sunrise, showing at 4th Level, Prix St. Georges and Intermediaire I.She ended the year with a solid third place finish in a very competitive 4th Level class at Dressage at Devon.In addition, Katarina and Sunrise were ranked 46th on the USDF Adult Amateur FEI - Prix St. Georges list with a median score of 61.00% and that score earned them a 2nd place finish in the USDF All-Breeds (SWANA): Prix St. Georges awards.

Patricia Crawford Earns Her
USDF Bronze Medal

Congratulations to Patty of Colts Neck, NJ who showed Katarina Antens-Miller's Holsteiner mare, Havanna this show season and earned the USDF Bronze Medal.

Patty, an Assistant Trainer at Los Alamos for the past 7 years, was showing at 4th Level by the end of the year. Havanna, by Cor de la Bryre, was imported by us through our contacts in Germany.

 

L.A. Baltic Kharma And Gail Hoff-Carmona


Gail and "Kharma" had an excellent show season.

They started the season showing at 2nd Level, then moved up to 3rd Level mid-year.

Kharma finished in 6th place in the USDF Vintage Cup Awards for 2nd Level with a median score of 63.974%. With that score, she finished in 2nd place in the USDF All-Breeds (SWANA): 2nd Level Open and was 1st in the USDF All-Breeds (SWANA): Vintage Cup - 2nd Level

Baltic Jubilation Continues His Winning Ways

"Jubi" and Debbie (his rider) had a very successful year despite Debbie's broken hand in the middle of the show season.

They placed 21st in the USDF Horse of the Year Awards: 1st Level Open, and USDF All-Breeds (SWANA): 1st Level Open - 1st Place with a median score of 70.644%.

Baltic Royalty Follows In Her Father's Footsteps


This just turned four year old mare by L.A. Baltic Sun was 2003 NJBHA Champion 2 Year Old Filly, 2004 NJBHA Champion 3 Year Old Filly, and she was 6th in the USEF Zone II - 3 Year Old Non-Thoroughbred Fillies.

She is owned by Nicole Uchrin.

Cara and "Rosie" had a wonderful show year. Here are some of their accomplishments:

ESDCTA Memorial Day Dressage - 1st Training Level - 68.846%,1st First Level - 65.185%, 1st First Level - 64.815%;

Dressage At The Park - 1st First Level - 67.037%, 2nd Training Level - 68.462%, 3rd First Level - 63.704%;

BFK North Midsummer Dressage - 1st Training Level - 67.308%, 1st Training Level - 65.769%, 2nd Training Level - 65.385%;

Virginia Dressage Association Fall - 1st First Level Open - 65.185%.

They placed 5th in the USDF All-Breeds (SWANA): Training Level AA with a median score of 66.15%.

L.A. Baltic Ebony

L.A. Baltic Ebony, owned by Kathy Marchese and shown by Gail Hoff-Carmona, had a very good "first" show year.

"Ebony" finished in 12th place in the USDF Vintage Cup Awards for Training Level with a median score of 65.962%.and that score also earned him 1st place in the USDF All-Breeds (SWANA): Vintage Cup - Training Level.


 

Prophet Starts His Show Career Early


A 2004 bay colt by L.A. Baltic Inspiration, was a hit at the breed shows at Morven Park.  The first day he scored a 78, with a 10 on general impression - the judge was Gerd.  The next day he scored a 80.9 - the judge was General Burton.

L.A. Baltic Inspiration And Los Alamos Distinguish Themselves


L.A. Baltic Inspiration was inspected and approved by the ISR/Oldenburg NA in July. He had the highest score of any stallion in the inspection. He now has both Swedish Warmblood and ISR/Oldenburg lifetime breeding licenses.

The show records of his offspring during the year, allowed him to be ranked 78th (out of over 1,200 stallions) in the USEF's 2004 List of Leading Dressage Sires.

Gail Hoff-Carmona and Los Alamos Dressage Center were ranked 49th in the USEF's 2004 List of Leading Dressage Breeders.
